Inverness Named Existential Crisis Capital of The World

Another accolade was added to Inverness’s groaning trophy cabinet today as ‘What’s It All About?’ magazine named the town city the ‘Existential Crisis Capital Of The World‘.

Inverness beat off stiff competition from cheerless places such as Beirut, Chernobyl, and Wick to win this year’s crown of most crisis-inducing place.

‘What’s It All About‘ magazine’s editor said that “Arriving in an extortionate Inverness hotel and looking across the city’s urbanscape forces one to examine not only what led them to such a place, but also the existence of God, of joy, and to ponder if urban planning was just something that was made up as a joke between universities. For us, after we visited the city’s Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness became the obvious choice.”

Inverness was given the top marks of 5 Weeping Kierkegaard’s out of 5 in categories such as: attitude to public services, shopping experience, pothole maintenance, jakey density, and seagull nurturing.
